All rabbits are eligible to compete in their respective breed fur or wool classes, and if normal furred, in the commercial fur class. All rabbits entered in fur or wool classes must be entered and shown in their respective breed class.
In the Breed Fur (Or Breed Wool) class, the animals are judged based only on their fur/wool characteristics, according to their breed standard. This is usually done just after Best of Breed is chosen.
In Commercial Fur class, normal furred animals from differnt breeds compete together according to the ARBA commercial normal fur standard.
The rabbit must be entered in its regular breed class. Then select the appropriate breed fur class from the list. Select "Breed and Commercial" if you want to enter in both breed and commerial classes. The decision to enter an animal in fur class must be made before that animal's entry is paid. Fur cannot be added to a previously paid entry. It is possible to change the ear number or other substitution if done before the deadline.
You can enter your rabbits to be in the Breed Fur, Commercial Fur, or Both. The fees are in addition to the regular breed class fee of $19.00 per animal.
Rabbits are cooped in their regular breed cooping area. Commercial Fur animals are carried to a central judging table.
Once a rabbit is entered in fur class, no changes to the class can be made. However the ear number can be changed to allow for a substitution. Fur cannot be added after the entry has been paid.

Not nutty at all, actually. Rabbits can compete in one main event; Rabbit Hopping, where they will run a course of 10 jumps up to 20" in height.
You can enter your rabbits to be in the breed (conformation) class and the hopping class. Or you can enter in the hopping class only.
Team Relay: All animals entered in Rabbit Hopping are also eligible to sign up for Team Relay when you arrive at the Convention. Team Relay is rabbit hopping with 3 exhibitors and 3 rabbits.
You can enter your rabbits to be in the breed (conformation) class and the hopping class. Or you can enter in the hopping class only.
If you enter a rabbit in a Open or Youth Show (regular breed classes), you can also enter it as:
If you wish to enter your rabbit only in the Hopping competition, be sure to select "Hopping Only" under the "Show" menu for each animal. If Hopping Only, here are the fees.
Team Relay: (sign up and pay at convention)
Although most rabbits that compete in hopping conform to one of the ARBA breeds, they are not required to meet any breed standard to hop. However, we need to know which breed they are closest to so we may provide the proper size coop. You can go to the ARBA breeds page to research which breed your hopper most resembles.
Cooping will be provided near the hopping area for those entered as "Hopping Only". All others showing in breed classes in the Open Rabbit or Youth Rabbit shows will be cooped in normal breed areas and will be carried to the hopping area for competition.

You must first create a ShowPro account using the Need an account? link at showprogram.com/login. Once created, you can add animals or event tickets to your shopping cart. Once paid for, they will move from your shopping cart to your "Official Entry Form". This can be viewed from your dashboard and printed at any time as an official confirmation.
If they are showing in the Youth show, do not list the parent's name on the entry, since adults are prohibited from showing in the Youth division. Each exhibitor needs their own account. From the login page choose Need an account?. If you already set up the account in a parent name in error, from the dashboard, you can click on Account > Edit to change the name into your child's name. Multiple children can show as a partnership using one account, or if they show individually, you will need to set up a separate account for each child using the Need an account? link.
It is important to know that the ARBA Convention and Show has its own special show rules. The show is more formal than a fair or local show, and it is helpful to know the rules. For example, it is not possible to change the breed once your entry is submitted. This information is critical for the show host to have in advance of setting up the showroom to know exactly how many of each size coop to place on the floor plan.
Since the convention is a formal exhibition, the class, sex, or variety cannot be changed as we get closer to the show dates. This is because the coop cards must be printed, sorted by coop number, and stapled to the thousands of coops in the showroom. The animals are displayed together in their orderly varieties and classes. This makes viewing a class of animals easy for fellow exhibitors, buyers, and runners. Attempting to change an entry from a buck to a doe or to a different variety at the last minute is against the rules, and will wreak havoc on the orderly exhibition and smooth flow of judging. It is also a form of unfairly gaining advantage over others that have abided by the rules.
Be sure you are using the correct Username and Password! We highly recommend starting with clicking on the Forgot Username? link. This is an important tip, especially if you have created multiple accounts in the past. You will be automatically emailed a list of usernames you have created. Once you are certain you are using the correct username, then try resetting your password using the Forgot Password? link. If you have difficulty or get locked out after too many failed tries, email the help desk.
Enter all animals on the same entry form. For example, if you show in Open Rabbits and Open Cavies, enter both shows using the same account and entry form. It doesn't make any difference which order you enter the animals in. Since some youth exhibitors choose to show in Open & Youth, it is possible for a youth exhibitor with rabbits and cavies to enter in four shows. Please keep in mind that the same animal cannot be entered in more than one show, and all animals must be by the same exhibitor.
Please use "Buck" for boars and "Doe" for sows. The official show paperwork will automatically convert these to Boars and Sows. Thanks for your understanding.
If you are purchasing tickets, tours, or results books only, please click either Cart in the main navigation or any button containing View cart, and proceed with finalizing entry without any animals. You will be able to complete your registration and receive a confirmation. Please use the help desk if you have questions about your registration without animals.
You must have a valid Visa or Mastercard credit card. Make sure you have entered all numbers correctly in the format required. Be sure you have the available balance, and have entered the correct billing address. Many credit card companies require you to call them, and will ask you security questions about the online transaction before releasing your funds. You can try a different card if you need to.
All eligible* non-recognized breeds and varieties are available in the form field. All of these animals are for "Exhibition" only and should be entered in the "Exhibition" show. If you are an official presenter/sponsor, you may enter as many animals as you choose, and you can designate which animals are "presentation" animals at time of check-in. Presentation animals are not judged. All other non-recognized breed/variety exhibitors will have entries accepted according to the limitations explained in the official catalog. Their animals are judged in regular showroom classes, but will not be eligible for legs toward grand championship.
* On record with the ARBA Standards Committee.
If your breed or variety is not listed, please email the help desk.
The convention allows you to make certain, limited changes to an entry if done before the specified deadlines. Generally, changes to the variety, class, or sex (but not breed) can be made through the "changes" deadline published on the Login page. To make a change, form your dashboard, click Official Entry Form > Edit Entered Animals > Edit.
After the "changes" deadline, the rules allow substitutions only. A substitution must be the same breed, variety, class, and sex, but with a different ear number. These are also called "ear number changes". Substitutions are allowed until check-in officially closes. Some exhibitors will make two entries when they are not sure which animal will be in its prime. Then they will "scratch" at the last minute any entries they do not bring.
At the ARBA Convention, the judge does not look at the private ear numbers before placing animals. Instead, the exhibitor will write the animal's coop number into the RIGHT ear using a black Sharpie marker. This is traditionally done at check-in time when you arrive at the show. As a convenience ShowPro has added a feature where the coop numbers are available the Monday before check-in. You can log into your account and view the official entry form, where you will see the coop numbers added. This is of high value to exhibitors with large entries, as they can write in the coop number at home while loading rabbits in the barn.
